When Israel’s citizens set off to vote, hospitalized children vote to have fun with Latet Tikva. Among the attractions we plan: sailing on a boat, riding a miniature train and a captivating bird show. 2015 elections – Kid’s style
Unfortunately, the 2015 Knesset elections, that will be held on March 17, will effect (and not only for the better) thousands of people requiring medical services in hospitals, that will be operating in weekend status. This means that with the exception of critical cases, most treatments will not be performed.
We, at Latet Tikva, think about the sick children throughout Israel that hospitalized all year long with severe illnesses.
Our volunteers have informed the hospital wards and parents about the activities and attractions for these sick children on Election Day.
According to our plan, and if weather permits, we will collect 120 children from different hospital wards and take them on a day of fun and pampering at the Ganei Yohoshua Park in Tel Aviv. They will enjoy special boat rides, a miniature train ride, and see the finest birds at the Zapari Bird Park. The trip will be accompanied by a medical team, in the best Latet Tikva tradition. The children will remember the 2015 Elections as a very special day.
When Israel’s citizens set off to vote, hospitalized children vote to have fun with Latet Tikva.
Wishing everyone a full recovery
