Shavuot is also the festival of flowers. Following ancient traditions, Israel adorns itself in greens and plants, the color of optimism and growth. In LatetTikva, our thoughts go straight to our children in hospital.
Adding to their hopefulness, LatetTikva volunteers set about giving out tens of bouquets together with packages of sweets and surprises for the Shavuot festival. Volunteers bring high spirits, sing the festive traditional songs with the children, and listen to what they have to say.
Hospitals thanked LatetTikva volunteers for this special event. “You always come along like angels, with creative ideas that no one has yet thought of,” they added with gratitude.
