Many children who are hospitalized and their parents were smiling during the high holidays thanks to the special activity organized by Latet Tikva.
It all began by the start of the new year – Rosh Hashana 5775. Before the start of the new year each child got greeting cards which they each designed to give to their doctors, family members and friends which caused much emotion.
The children with the most original cards won a gift package from the Latet Tikva volunteers.
There were clowns who were brought in to enhance the atmosphere and to bring the start of a sweet new year.
During the holidays, festive holiday meals were served – by pre-selection menu –to the family members residing near the child’s bed in the hospital.
During Sukkot, there were fun days for sick children, in collaboration with the team of the hospital, so that sick children had also moments of vacation, relaxation and hope
